    Mk4 eadlights

    Hi Guys

I have a 2002 SXi, and was just a bit suprised that with the engine off and the key out of the ignition i can still turn on my headlights.

Not a major problem as i still get the warning buzzer but just wondered if it was normal.

    Cheers

    James

Well i've owned about 10 cars in my time and none of them have ever done this, hence why i asked lol. All my previous cars turned all the lights off with the ignition which is y i thought this a bit strange.

Least i know this is meant to happen

Yeah Vauxhall's do this. Most other cars as you say will switch the headlignts off and leave the side lights on only

Really?! I've driven a lot of cars (mostly hire cars with work), and pretty much all of them left the lights on dipped with the keys removed from the ignition...
