    Fitting drivers knuckle

How easy a job is this to do?

I have a replacement knuckle sitting here ready to fit, and im going to tackle it on sat morn as i have my MOT at 3 that afternoon..

is this a easy enough job to do?

any suggestions on whats to be done?

All i know is im 90% sure its a elongated hole for the ball joint thats causing the "apparent" wishbone / ball joint issues BUT my ball joint and wishbones are fine!

I can swap one so sure you can if you can get the old track rod end off without a grinder!

Not a difficult job really, less so given it was my first major mod (change hub carrier/knuckle for 280mm brake upgrade). Beyond faffing with the TRE it was easy enough, just check the torque settings in the Haynes when putting it all back together. It suggests you need threadlock on some of the bolts too.

Hey mate ,Grind the B--grs off and fit new ones, after market have an
aln key , held so ya can get a grip on it,

Unlike the stupid vx ones, which i have brand new,
Yeh jack it up, keep a bit of grip. n still dont tighten

But sometimes aftermarket product improve , im sure the track rod end is one of them

Stu, if u cant get a ball joint seperator then try tightening the bolt then loosening it - bit by bit slowly and with a bit of luck it will come off - most of the time i just grind them off though
