    VXR Turbo Gone????

Hey ppl i put a VXR turbo on my car about 5-7k ago i reckon, i have a feeling im gonna need another one!!!

The problem im having is my baileys DV is now spitting out oil and im guessing the turbo seals have gone? Can i get this sent off to be uprated to the twin oil seals and 360 bearings and fit one of them oil restrictor bolts at the same time as putting it back on?

Or am i gonna have to save some pennies for ANOTHER vxr turbo??

    Cheers!

    Hold fire.

With my old turbo my DV leaked a bit of oil. That was goosed, but it still does it with my new VXR turbo. I don't think it means the turbo is goosed.

how much oil we talking also look in the pipe for the intercooler id say put the restrictor bolt in clean all pipes and DV and see if it stops tbh inless your looking alot of oil and smoking on idle wudnt really say its nakerd it quite common for oil topass through the seals which is why people put the restrictor bolt on them

My turbo has been uprated with twin oil seals and its still putting oil in the DV lol - more noticable because the DV is facing downwards I guess...

Enough to put a layer of oil over half my rocker cover!

Car is standard apart from the vxr turbo!

I haven't noticed any smoking but will have a look when i start it after i finish work!

I know theres mean to be a bit of oil in there but il clean it before i go home, take a pic when i get home and upload it, so you can have a look!

mines been on my car for roughly 800/1000 miles,
removed my baileys DV and put in a power pipe, all seems fine so far.

I was told the rocker covers are prone to warping in shape, and therefore causing them to leak...sure its only coming from the DV?
