5 door 1.6 petrol: grey tool behind the fuel cover?

Astra Mk5, 1.6 petrol 'life' model. I have a long thin grey plastic tool inside of the petrol cap cover.

    What is it for?

    Cheers

Yup, as above, for removing dust caps from wheels, great idea IMO.

Think you'll find they are colour coded to match your car as well, mine is black to match my car, and Ash's is silver to match her car

Ah... I get it. I've just been to look at it properly and I did think 'Tyre valve' when looking at the flat end.. as that will depress the valve to deflate.

But the other end foxed me: I though maybe cleaning the threads but that seemed iffy.

Cheers, I'll look in the manual again under tyres to see if I can find it. :-) [found it, page 227]

p.s Mines a black car with a light-grey tool in it! (as has been said to me on more than 1 occasion! LOL)
