i can't say i've been very impressed with the vx jack either... but when i'm changing a wheel they're ok .. its all about the prep and so it takes all of 15 secs just swap wheels over and start replacing the bolts so it's not that bad.

for any other work i use another jack because i dont trust the vx jack to get it high enough for the axel stands lol

Never been a fan of the Vauxhall jack, my Combo came off the jack and frightend the life out of me. From then on i have a trolley jack in the car, feel much safer changeing a wheel. My brother has just got a little bottle jack in his car, which is also good.

Was changing my wheels the other day using the jack, and the bloddy thing started rolling and the jack just fell over. Luckily I still had the wheel on!

I've been using it to get under the car to sort of the join in my exhaust....
