    mk3 and mk4 gsi power difference

    hey guys i have always wanted a mk4 gsi but will probably settling up with the cheaper mk3 gsi, whats the bhp, 0-60 and tuning differences between the two?

    thanks thought so, they do look better than the mk4 gsi imoa but probably going to start rotting if not looked after?

    Yeah usually go around the arches and and Fuel filler cap, but its hidden well under the cap.

    Mk4 has bigger tuning potential.

    N/a engines cost bucks to get bhp out of them.

    If you decide on the mk3 gsi, get the c20xe version. Great strong engine, had one in my corsa .

    the one im looking at has this engine in it



    it also looks like its wel looked after (as you can probably tell from the engine) and has:

    new cambelt and new water pump
    17 inch alloys
    straight through exhaust
    cammed and been remapped
    strut brace

    this is what the body looks like (if anyone recognises it letme know )

    Does look well looked after. Hydraulic lifters are sometimes noisy when started for the first time ( cold ) & the sump gaskets leak like a b*tch, just a few pointers for you mate.
