    fuel tank?

Okay so the fuel tank in mk4s are 52litres, well mine is anyway.

I picked up my astra today, woo anyways the fuel light was flashing so i decided to put petrol in it..

£20 worth did just over 1/4 of a tank..

So a full tank will cost me £80 (roughly)

I thought £50 would be a full tank..

    Am i missing something?

mine does the same, when full it takes 50 or so miles to move then gets down to half way fairly quickly, then stays there for a while. the fuel gauge is only a guide anyway its never going to be bang on.
