    Arrow Few mod questions

I would like some Irmscher tinted tail lights like these..

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IRMSCHER-Vauxh...item19b8b26d91

Can you get them anywhere cheaper?
Plus will i have to tell my insurance company as they are just a different colour really and i'm only 18 so its bound to go up £100 just for lights.. which i don't want.

Also do you need to tell the insurance company abought interior changes like bulbs, gear knob/ spraying centre console etc, things like that?

    Help appreciated

Usually cosmetic mods will not affect the premium. Many cosmetic changes might tho

You have to declare any mods to the insurer or your insurence will be void. Not 100% sure on the interior stuff but i still think you are meant to let them know.

I am with admiral and they seem low on insurance even for young drivers, but i put in say alloy wheels (non-standard) for interest and goes up like £80..

So cosmetic i dont need to tell them?

You have to declare anything that wasnt factory fitted to the vehecle so cosmetics come under this as well.

Like said alot of insurers wont charge any or alot for cosmetics but you still need to declare them. Ring them up and have a word.

Well i'm phoning up my insurance tomorrow as im picking up the car saturday and i will ask them then

on their website it only has an option for Exterior decorative changes and the price goes up, but i only want rear lights.. so if i ask them about this, the premium may not change?
