    Angry 17tdi

    hi can any one help im getting fuel to the injector pump but nothing through it is this poss electrical (this is the gm engine)

    hi mark, do you have a fault code? does your engine managment light come on, or did it come on as you obviously cant start it with no fuel!

    Hi my 1st post,
    I had the same problem, except mine cut out on motorway
    garage said possibly diesel pump....£1200+
    turned out to be diesel pump ecu......£300
    found out later could have done it myself for £50

    Interesting - but I'm curious - what would you have done with the ECU for 50 pounds?

    Ah thanks for that - I figured if you did it yourself it would cost a lot less than 50 pounds.

    But you must have been pleased to have paid only that to get it fixed instead of 300 or even 1200!

    By the way - well done digging up that thread - its a good one and I do remember seeing the picture of the circuit board before...

    I did pay £300...
    only found out about fault\repair after instructing garage to go ahead
    was in for 4 days!!!! to undo 4 bolts & solder 1 connection

    but still better than £1200

    Like I said earlier we live and learn ...I will research before instructing garage

    i had this prob with mine and it was the edu exactly the same symptoms and i had it at two different places finally to put it into vauxhall as i needed the car and they had it fixed with within a day could have been less had they got the edu earlier!!!!!

    did cost me 900 quid but gave me peace of mind do not know bout the gm engine tho as this prob seems to be on the isuzu engine!
