    An addition to my engine bay... Good or Bad?

    Bought a cheap and nasty engine dressing kit from ebay. Was only a tenner so was worth a try. It is the split copex stuff that surrounds wires etc in red:

    I did the same with my mk4 but in blue.

    They look good but be warned after a while some of them do start to melt.

    looks ok, try putting the splits at the bottom, so you cant see them

    Well cant win all of them lol. Still for a tenner, if i never bought it i would have always been 'what if' about it. I actually bought it for my volvo T5, but its away at the minute, and the astra was outside. Went to try it out and got carried away and used it all lol. Might keep the battery cables and a few bits. I think the lamba sensor one will definetly be coming off, its a bit out of place.
