    Smoothing bumpers...

I'm thinking of having the front number plate recess smoothed out on the front bumper along with the bump strips and bumper extension on the rear bumper. Whats a reasonable price to expect to be paying for this work? Also, whats the best method of this being done so I can query when getting quotes?

    Cheers

Plastic welding is the best method. id expect to pay from £200 -250 to have it smoothed and blended into the wings for the perfect colour match. Bumper painted alone , id pay considerably less.

Well that sounds reasonable - I was expecting it to cost more. I've got a list of work on the front end to do anyway including two new wings and a bonnet so blowing it in isn't really an issue!

How much should i be looking at the for the rear fred?

haughan - The bump strips on the rear bumper i was referring to - the bump strips on the mk5 doors are just pull of plastic with no holes underneath - all the doors are getting a full spray anyway.
