    SPAX RSX Coilovers??

Just about to order my coilovers, i've got around 550 to spend, i've seen some spax rsx for just under. There going on a mk4 Gsi, i live in pot hole laden Yorkshire so i want something that can take some hammer.

Does anyone els have these or have any recomendations for a nice set of coilovers within that price.

I've had a set of g-max spring n shocks for about 30k and they feel awful now, i put the knackered wheel bearings and driveshafts down the way the springs have sagged.

I had the Spax RSX kit for my NA6 MX5, and to be fair they were great for track work. However, they were a bit stiff for most B-roads, and because they don't use a pre-tensioner, they were a bit dodgey for the Nurburgring (though I did use them there for 3yrs without a problem).

That said, they use very similar spring/damping rates to the Gaz kits so there isn't much between them. I prefer Spax, as the customer service IMO was excellent.
