    iPhone or blackberry (poll included)

Yes its this age old debate again,

My contract is coming up soon and these are the choice of phones i have, my missus has just taken delivery of a iPhone and its impressive to say the least, that said, a few mates of mine have a blackberry and again they are impressive.

I want people's suggestions but also a reason as to why they are suggesting it!

    cheers
    mark.

The iPhone is an impressive bit of kit, and the list of applications is seemingly endless. I did have a play about with the blackberry and didn't really get on with it. Seem to be more for business use. A few people I know have had them and would never have one again.

One for you to think about... What about the HTC Hero or HD2? I've got a HTC Magic and it's great. Not got the sheepness of the iPhone, but still got plenty of applications and the Android software is fantastic IMO.

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring

I have a BB and like it, never had any issues and does everything near enough perfectly. The only thing I don't like about my BB is lack of Wifi, would be really handy at work sometimes when in a building that has crap signal but sat next to a router

I am a Apple hater, but seem to be getting drawn towards buying an iPhone when my contract is up lol.

Having both, I would be more inclined towards the Blackberry - main reason its much easier for email and texting on. If you want a phone for fun and games, iPhone is the one, if you want a serious phone to use for alot of texting/emails, then yes Blackberry is the one.

I have a similar dilema on my hands. My o2 18 month iPhone contract only has a few months left to run, meaning I am due an upgrade. If I didn't already have a Blackberry, then I know for sure I would get one.

Only thing I was say with the Blackberrys, is avoid to 9000 Bold. At work, there are about 30 of us with these handsets. Have had them since last May, and about 4 of them have had to be sent away for repairs to cracked LCD screens - mine being one of them. I admit, I dropped mine, but from a grand height of about 4-6inches - hardly the height some of the have been dropped from. They seem to be, shall we say, fragile. Also, the track ball, if used lots, they tend to stick and not want to move - is due to a build up of dust and dirt behind the ball itself. Normally the ball won't go up or down, to free it, you have to scroll hard sideways on the ball to release the dirt - this has also happened a fair bit on the more "used" handsets at work.

    HTH!

9500 is the storm and doesn't have Wifi. The Storm 2 (9520) does have WIFI

Curve would be either the 8300, 8520 or 8900
