    alarm going off when hot

hello as title says really, whenever its sunny my car alarm semms to go off every 10mins. i had a bit of a bump a few weeks ago and the passenger door is all bent in if that has anything to do with it?
just wondering if there is a way to turn down the sensitivity of the alarm?

    its a astra coupe mk4 1.8

    many thanks in advance

There's no sensitivity adjustments on the factory alarm. If the door switch is letting the interior light come on randomly then yes this could cause it
