    Question neons !!!!!

    hi i bought some neons for my footwells a while back and all it was 2 neons that plug into a small back box with 2 wires connecting to a toggle switch and a wire to connect to the battery which was a piece of piss to fit . ive since got rid of the car and got my mk4 astra and got another set of neons. these are near enuf the same BUT instead of a wire for the battery it got 2 white plug things similar to something you would plug into a headunit and i dont know how the hell to fit them can anyone help please thanks dean

    sound like cold cathodes to me, meant to be plugged to an invertor to enable them to ignite

    That's molex connectors for use in PC's. I presume you bought some CC PC kit.

    Just chop em off and wire it straight in your usual way (i'd use an inline fuse)

    As said, cut the black & yellow wires off at the plug, then connect to your carblack will go to earth (metal work or a brown wire), yellow to either your lighting circuit (grey/yellow wire) or an ignition feed (black wire).
    Handiest place to pick up these wires is @ the wiring for the cigarette lighter.

    finally managed to do it after 3 hours to click on they only work if i turn my light on lol thanks alot mate u been a big help

    if you want them to work with the light off you can wire it to the ignition live and install a in line switch
