    H7R hids

I have just recently bought the 50w hid kit from hid direct and i have received the normal H7 hid bulb but thinking of getting the h7r bulb because of the glare onto oncoming traffic. Would the h7r bulb be dimmer than the normal h7 bulb on the road? and would it have the same intensity of light seen by the driver?

The H7R bulb just attempts to cut out the light that's reflected where it shouldn't be. It should not affect the amount of light on the road. I assume you're fitting to standard lenses? In which case you won't get a good light pattern anyway - these lenses are not designed to reflect the light from HID bulbs.

Had the exact bulbs y ou're on about

If in standards, i'd get the "r" but i wouldn't have got 50w having had them in standards myself.

If you're in projectors then you wont need the "r" & i would go for 50w based on what i have read
