    caliper paint

    hi all, going to paint the calipers,has any body used the SAVAGE paint on ebay?

    save your money and buy some hammerite mate, goes straight onto rusty services and lasts ages. you'll only need a 250ml tin and still have loads left

    afraid not mate, some reason they only do a few colours the blue that i used is similar to this

    The blue hammerite I used on mine looks like the VXR blue calipers.

    you can get 2 different blues 1 light and 1 dark i got the light on my arden gsi (ill try and find a pic).

    USE hammerite m8, better than any caliper paint! I would advise still cleaning up calipers before painting thou for better effect even thou you can paint straight on with hammerite. Smooth blue is what you need, not a million miles off ARDEN BLUE.

    Or go to halfords and get some ARDEN BLUE paint mixed and use that, but not sure if would come off or be ideal for calipers. Suppose you could coat afterwards with high temp clear laquer if you did!!!
