    fitting air fuel ratio gauge

    ive just got myself an autoguage air fuel ratio gauge my problem is the insructions are half missing it says i need to conect the grey wire to one of the o2 sensor wires but i dont know which one? any help please???

    also it dosnt say what to do with the red and black wires so im guessing they are ign live and ground??

    if your car's tuned or you plan too tune it and it's a norrowband gauge don't bother as it won't give you a accurate reading...you really need a wideband kit but it needs an extra sensor fixed into the exhaust system..

    i had a gauge wired into my factory sensor and it was a waste of time..so i fitted a wideband kit! (you can get a good wideband kit for about £200) but then you need too weld a boss into the exhaust system.

    yeh thanks but i jus wana try my 20 quid one first lol cash is tight any idea what wire to use?

    i can't remember which one of the three wires it connects too on the stock sensor,but yeh the red is power and black is earth..i'm sure someone will know soon..sorry i can't help you more..

    cheers mate i found an old thread thay says its the black wire on the first o2 sensor
