    Painting car parts

Just a quick question bout spraying car parts...

I recently modified the front grille on my mk5 Astra, I followed all of the steps (i.e. sanded it, primed it, painted then laquered) but the finished part doesn't look as shiny as the rest of the car.

Is there anything I have missed like does it need buffing and polishing or something??

    Any help would be great!

sand the final layer carefully with 1500 grit paper and water resand with 1500 paper with lots of water and a little fairyliquid in it. buff with rubbing compound. i then buff with a colourmatched t-cut followed by super resin polish and a couple of coats with a good hardwax. finish like glass everytime

Nope after you have rubbed it down with wet and dry, buff it then polish it and it should be smooth and shiney mate
