We went round and tested a ton of them 6 months ago, then went and got it from argos half price, result... £599.99 and got for £300.

have a look there's still some at half price...

I've had ergonomic, space age, this that and the next thing from a few hundred to just under a grand and I can honestly say the comfiest, best mattress I've ever slept on (and still do) is £100 from Ikea.

I must second Domino's opinion on the Ikea mattress. Had one for near on 2 and a half years now, and still as comfy as the day I bought it.

Although, if you have a "normal" size bed, Ikea ones won't fit as they are slightly longer. The mattress Ash has is a mixture of foam and springs, possibly the most comfiest mattresses I have ever slept on, not from Ikea, costs about £250-£300 IIRC!

Memory Foam pillows (Dunelm) £20 are also well worth the money!

I've got a half memory foam/half spring mattress and it's the comfiest thing I've ever slept on. I tried a couple out and this was easily the best. Was about £300 or so for a double a couple of months ago. Tried the full memory foam one but felt a bit soft.

Oh right, well, when I bought mine, they only came in 200cm lengths, when IIRC, most beds are 190cm?

Yeh same here. I have mixture of both foam and spring mattress for my new double bed. Comfy and fantastic sleep with no problems at all!
Very comfy indeed, mine was around £215 inc. mattress protector iirc.

Ikea ones again had one for around 3 years and very comfy indeed, and no complaints there!
Disclaimer - some of the above text may actually be sarcasm (believe it or not!)

yeah.... and I bought the 200 and only realised when I got home and it wouldn't fit. Took it back and saw they had the 'standard' size ones which was a relief lol.
