    Display being weird

I have an aftermarket head unit fitted, when this is off the date is displayed on the display unit but as soon as i turn the headunit on it goes off and then it only shows the time and temperature?

I was wondering if anybody knew what could be wrong?

    Thanks

hi this is just what it does sometimes i think sony make this happen. i had a full display with a kenwood but changed to sony and the date went. there is a wire in the mfd you can cut but iv just left it if you wanna see the date just turn the stereo off but a search will give you a more detailed explanation on cutting the wire

My aftermarket headunit did the same, just to do with the wireing.
