Should a 1.6sxi have locking wheelnuts?

Today I traded my aging Renault Laguna for a 56 plate Astra 1.6sxi. Now the Laguna has been a reliable car over the last 4 years, but as a 52 plate it was approaching 8 years old, and old Renaults can have interesting electrical problems.

I am pleased with the Astra and have owned a few of the older models in the past. However I have one question. Did the 2006 Astra 1.6sxi come with standard locking wheel nuts? Mine doesn't appear to have done so, which I find strange with alloy wheels. The garage couldn't answer the question, but I am currently leaving them alone to find the spare key that didn't come with the car, and the missing roof ariel....

a 56 plate should have locking wheel nuts. have a look to see if one nut is different. if it is then its a locking one and you need the 'key' if you dont have it, then i hope you dont get a flat tyre anytime soon
