    Advice please, Insignia related

My Insignia's steering feels very light ocassionly.
I have just been surfing a forum and discovered another recall for the Insignia has been issued.

    Based on the steering.

'a number of Insignia models could be affected by an insecure connection of the intermediate steering shaft to the steering column and under certain driving conditions this could result in a loss of steering control'
Now my car's steering feels extremely light ocassionly(usually when I go to faster speed)

Does the above quote sound like it could cause what I'm experiening?

Not sure, but tbh you can just ring your local dealer and ask them if there's a recall for your car, give them the reg plate and they should be able to tell you.....

    I think anyway:P

shame on vauxhall for not sorting this out along time ago, they had the same recall for vectra's with intermediate shaft/coupling issues, mine had to be reworked. yours does sound as though it could be related to the insignia recall
