Exclamation Is this a write off? If not how do I fix it?

    Hey all,

After having a low speed knock (front OS wing damaged), I decided to do all the work myself. So dove a 400 mile round trip today to pick up a new wing that was my colour ....

I removed my skirt to finally remove the damaged wing and found the following dents and bends .....

Is this major damage? Can I fix it myself? (if so how?!) or is it a write off?

(general key YELLOW line = to front of car, RED circle dent or bend, BLUE line wing mount support)

Below is a shot from outside the engine bay ...

    Thanks,

    J

the car has taken some impact on the front cross member which has fed through the inner panel(s) of the engine bay. for a proper repair job you will need to jig it and cut out and weld in the new sections or it will drive like a crab

    Near Peterborough (cambs) mate ....

I've given my insurance the heads up - I might be claiming .... Just goes to show - slight, cosmetic looking damage can hide trouble!

That mean's I'm gonna have to declare her SORN and use my brothers Polo next week for work
