    Fuses

hello, i have a few questions about the fuses,
    1. The fuses under the bonnet, there is 8 of them, the 5th one is missing, and i think they are in the wrong order to the diagram i've seen from first to last: 60, 60, 60, 30, -, 20, 80, 30
    2. And the fusebox, are all of the fuses suppose to be there? because i have quite a few missing.

i mainly want to find out because my ABS is not working or i havent got one - thats what my dad suggested
In the diagram the 6th fuse is the abs and its suppose to be 60A where as in my car it is 20A

    1. Yes, your missing fuse normally supplies the ABS

    2. If you mean the main fusebox inside, then some fuses will not be fitted as they may only be used for options not fitted to your car.

Chances are you don't have ABS, If you do you will see the ABS unit mounted below the relay box in the engine bay, there will be brake pipes coming out of the top of it.

    30A fuses should be OK for a 1.6 8V.
