Takes the pulse signal from the wheel hub & converts it to a suitable signal to drive the Speedo on car with no ABS module.

    Speed Signal Converter

Hi, I also don't have this converter in my fusebox but there is "ABS" lit all the time on my dashboard. My speedometer is not working too. AFAIK, if the car has ABS, this is where it takes the speedo signal. If I don't have an electronic speedometer, can it be cable? Is this the same as the camshaft sensor and where is located? Kindly advise.

On cars with ABS the signal is taken from the passenger wheel sensor. I suspect thats faulty on your car and causing the problem with the ABS too

    Hi,

Sorry for this dumb question as I know nothing of cars, I just got this car a week ago. When you say passenger wheel sensor, where is it located? The front wheel on Driver's seat side, passenger side right front wheel, etc... BTW, my car is Left hand drive.... Thank you..

Sometimes my speedometer hand moves very slowly from 0 to 20 then down again. What could be the problem? I don't even know which is it located among the four wheels. Is it on the front left driver's seat, from right passenger seat, rear left or rear right of the passenger seat? Kindly help...

In opcom I believe you can do a real time test and see the wheel moving while your driving, have you done this test?

The signal convertor is in the fuse box under the dash, the exact location is shown in the sticky at the top of this forum. Your speedo is probably taken from the gearbox then
