    yo, im looking for a good oil catch tank has any bought one and can rate it highly

    they seem expensive for what they are so I started making my own today, this is how far I got after 45 minutes with nothing more than scrap metal I had laying around my garage, just need my welder and grinder back to finish up!




    The pipes will be point straight outwards and level though!

    neither chap, I didn't put anything in the last one I made and it work well.

    you need a baffle too collect the oil vapour or it will just get sucked around with the air and defeat the object!. then most have a drain on the bottom to let the oil out without taking the tank off.(still you pay for what you get ispose..

    The last one I made worked exactly as it should, it collected fine in the bottom (most being sludge anyway) I'll clean it out by removing it from the car as its 2 hoses clamps and a couple of securing bolts, it seems hard to clean them out properly when they are in the bay anyway.
