    Leak under car HELP PLEASE

    Hi, i noticed a leak coming from under my car when it was raining the other day. It was rainbowed coloured. Does anone have any idea's what it could be??

    where is the leak coming from?? (more specifically than under the car, before the smart arses chime in)

    It will be petrol or oil. Do you smell petrol when opening the door getting out the car?

    Doesnt take much to give an alarmingly big rainbow streak on wet ground lol!

    As BMAstra said wait until its dry and look under your car for any splash, drip or sray marks this will give you a rough idea of the location. If still not obvious clean any residue you can see place old news paper under and run the car for a while, this will give you an idea of the location of the leak and type (fuel, oil etc).
