    x20 inlet cam

    can anyone explain to me what gains are made from putting this in my z20let? Will it affect my idle will i need timing adjusted? Remap? Etc? Cheers coco

    get her mapped anyway when everything has been fitted, retarded one tooth it gives you extra torque and you'll feel it pull better from 4k upwards, will not idle rough

    ive now done 8k with it in and still going well

    Exactly as WARDY25 said. I am fitting mine next month and have done a lot of research into it.

    Fit 1 tooth back and then remap.

    Also replace waterpump and tensioners/pulleys etc when you replace the cambelt.

    if your feeling flush buy a vernier pulley and only put it half a tooth back for better results

    I have been looking for one of these inlet cams and from what i have heard there a good mod, there still fetching a lot of money though lol

    Now where would we be able to get the vernier pulley from? Would i have to change the pulley on the exhaust cam too or not because i wont be altering the timing there?

    wouldnt have to change exhaust one, err someone will tell ya soon i reckon maybe regal or someone like that, looking about £20 ish for a cam if you can find someone with one

    The only ones i have found are like double that!! lol Is there any noticable difference before getting it mapped?
