    Smile front brakes help

im planning on doing a front brake 280mm disc upgrade on my 1.6 astra sxi.
i know i can use the discs from the mariva as there 280mm n 4 stud allready.
can i use my own brake calipers with them and just get the carriors or do i need upgrade all bits and if so what bits i need n what cars can i get them from?
i dont wana do five stud as i cant afford wheels to and like ones i have.
want to do it at the same time as im doing my rear disc conversion as i can use new brake fuiled to.
were is the best place to get the copper brake link pipes made to for ther ones.

yes ive done quite a bit of it and the rest of it is in my to do pile.
will be all done by pvs though.
i wanted 308s but was told that 280 would be fine for plans i have and when the have to be replaced the parts will be cheaper.
were do i get the callipers from and do i use the carrouirs i have on the front know?

its been covered several times before - i myself have listed what exactly is required so many times i cant be bothered repeating myself - wouldnt be surprised if ive actually told u personally!

in essence ur current 256mm setup is dire and needs to be binned - the entire lot of it - all youll be keeping is the hub. the rest including steering knuckle and everything else bar the hoses need to be junked.

The search facility is a good thing
