    Question ecu repair

    is any one know if is worth repair the ecu ?

    Well they are about £400 new so yes.

    I got a new ecu for my brothers 1.4 16valve (X14XE) for £154.51 inc vat and delivery then an extra £45 + vat for programing the new ecu as my brothers was F.U.B.A.R

    Hi try these www.camcoautomotive.com we use these all the time they are very good and very cost efficient. They also collect if you are in the there area.

    Funny enough they are the ones that programed my brothers wery good company but were to expencive to supply the ecu so i got one from VAUXCENTRE LTD 08718 753730

    Question ecu light

    I have a prob with my ecu light constantly on.took to garage he said ecu showing temp sensor and some other sensors faulty but they are all ok.he suggested a donor ecu i got one from a 1600 8v auto astra mk4 donor with key and ignition part mine is a mk4 1600 8 valve manual. y reg had it fitted at first had to take back to garage as did not work properly but now ok.the prob is the ecu light on the dash has never gone off.any ideas as to fix and why it still on.please dont say just take out the bulb thanks

    ECU problem

    I have the same problem with my astra coupe, everyones told me to send the ECU off to get rebuilt, try http://www.the-ecu-doctor.co.uk/
