My Poor results from RR with graph, help please

Hi guys, i had this done acouple of weeks ago but only got round to this,

My car has a ''sports cat'' from powerflow, catback Milltek and an enclosed bmc induction kit and i only made 186 bhp with around 225lb/ft. I was expecting around 200bhp from what i have seen other cars do, below is my graph. Wondering if you guys can notice anything wrong that would have caused this.

the car is on 58k with new turbo at 43, somebody has mentioned that it may be running low boost(?). It had a light service, plugs etc about 6 months ago. Car is in good cond with no weird noises/rattles.

im not a mechanic and not fully clued up about engines so need all the help i can get, thanks.

Possible boost leak? The graph doesn't seem very smooth. You should be running alot more then that with your setup.

Although my car ran 191bhp with a BMC filter and stainless system, then 211.5 with a 2.2 Airbox and standard cat back and stainless precat.

Change the air filter and try again, then go from there

will do mate, bmc doesnt really do anything if atall tbh. Still running crossover but i dont think that would make a huge difference, just bought a precat so hopefully will boost it but can the bmc really cause, say a negative 10bhp? is the torque relative for the mods that i have or is that low aswell?

Your torque is well over standard. Infact it's 40lbft over, it should be 185lbft.

Im not sure if the crossover makes a difference, when I removed mine it contributed to the 20bhp gain on a standard map. Try putting a standard box back on and give it another go, I am pretty sure you will notice some gains.

The torque certainly makes up for the 4/11bhp loss (Depending if SRi/GSi/ACT)

SRi-Turbos and ACT's are 190bhp standard I believe, and the GSi was 197bhp.

Not that it matters as they are identical engines

sorry mate i dont know, dont have a boost gauge. it is a GSI. Tbh the operator of the dyno didnt explain much, i got to sit in the car but he talked about the 650bhp GTR that was on before me . I'll definetly take the bmc off. I dont think the bmc is made for a gsi, it has 85mm outlets but i would have though that it would make a difference, i have bought silicone hosing to fit it.

it could possibly be a low reading RR tho! if a standard car went on and it was 10 down on theres then you would expect the same but without a standard car you dont really know how acturate the rollers are

Kev, on the day a new civic ran 200bhp so they were pretty good tbh. I felt gutted when it came off. Going into the garage on Friday to get the pre cat on so i will ask them to have a look over the tur bo unit and the surrounds for anything untoward.
