Question Dash Lights has got me baffled.

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone else on here has seen this before.

I was heading up the A1 early hours of sunday morning doing around 70-80 and i looked at the dash lights and for a split second the battery, oil and eml displayed.

Now I have since checked the oil on my car and have also done the pedal test and the display shows ECN00000 so no codes present to my knowledge.

Hope this makes sense and is nothing to worry about.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

    Cheers

    Roy

is this a zaffy A or B, if a B then this has been reported by a few people on VXROnline on their VXr cars. My Astra use to do it, a dash software upgrade solved it

Nixoro, The as stated above is usually caused by a software 'CLASS' issue, If you go to your vauxhall dealer and tell them whats happened they should flash the 'ECU' and software update it for you free of charge. Weather under warranty or not as is a FREE service provided to all vauxhall owners as ecu require periodical updates and these are usually run on service intervals. If its not a software 'CLASS' issue then i'm sure a vaux techy should be able to tell you what it is if anything at all. Hope this helps

    Hi Guys

Thanks for the responses, its a zaffy B, shall have a look on VXROnline.

Enbracefan I cant say I have heard of this before so I think I shall be making a call to Vauxhall very soon to see what they say.

Think the update is whats needed from the sounds of it

    Many Thanks
