Arrow Cambelt change plus tensioners and W/pump

    Hello peeps,

Last time I changed a cambelt was on my old Cav SRI on a E plate.

    I have a Astra G 1700 DTI the Eco engine 73 bhp on a Y plate which I think is 2000/2001.

I'm not a mechanic but I've always carried out my own work on my motors, I can't afford garage bills. Just wandering if anybody has done their cambelt etc and could advise me please if it's ok to do, am I right in thinking if I got the cam locking tool it would make the job easier for me and cut out any mishaps ie any movement when I remove the old belt.

    Tim.

I changed the cambelt twice on my old DTI astra... It was a relatively easy job.
