    Exhaust fitting

    Ok just fitted a new rear silencer today and it aint mating correctly with the centre pipe!
    Its not blowing and car runs fin with it on but will this turn into a problem?
    I was thinking about cutting maybe 2mm of the neck but not really sure!


    Bought it from ebay form a trusted seller
    Any opionings anyone
    Bolts are very tight aswell

    Well if it was me I would leave it if its not blowing. don't worry about it.

    didnt know it needed one as my last backbox never had one on!
    It seems fine at the moment

    the 'o' ring gasket is missing and this has casued the two bolts to be drawn into the flange too far, undo and fit an 'o' ring and re-bolt back up and it should line up perfect. it will be blowing out of the joint and would fail an MOT also
