    Strange marks on brake discs

    Anyone have any clues on what these marks could be, they are only on the front discs and in the same position, the small loops are directly opposite on both discs.

    looks like where the car has been parked up with the pads touching the discs for some reason,, eg the piston didnt return properly..
    Drives a 53 plate Arden Blue Zafira A Gsi 2ltr turbo...

    probly just where the air has got to it causing some oxidisation..or staining..i wouldnt worry about it..some time common on rear pads caused by handbrake..overnight..

    Most of the problems mentioned are what i thought it could be but then i have done a few long journeys like up to aberdeen and back 500 mile ish and they are still there.

    get some megga fine wet and dry and remove it..and clean with an airline?
    1.8 16v 99 T plate.

    Anyone else got any ideas what these could be, have been driving all day and they are still there.

    dont know what the marks are fella but have seen them on several vehicles and its nothing to worry about.

    Cheers mate have been there for about 4 months was starting to think it was new brake time.
