    Just a quick question!

    Can anybody tell me hot to tell the different between a single point injection and a multi point injection on a 1.6 8v mark 4 ?

    I'm looking at this car, which one is it? xD

    that is the old x16szr and is single point, ultra slow and at times has a troublesome ecu unless it has been remanufactured

    single point is as in your pic, it has a circular pan type airbox that sits on top of a single point injector throttle body and this unit was in the Astra's until early 2000 as X16SZR. it then got changed to multipoint injection after this time and became Z16SE and you will easily see the four fuel injectors on a fuel rail that sit along the backside of the cam cover

    Ok i understand Thanks for the help.

    is it just the 1.6 8v that have the single injectors?
