Some Changes Under My Bonnet, What do you think?

    Hi all,

Done abit of work under my bonnet recently, still got my alloy header tank to go on yet, along with another couple of blue hoses.

Thanks goes out to Geordiebandit for the inspiration behind the air filter.

    Heres a before picture:

    And after:

    Feedback welcome, thanks.

    Thanks for the feedback.

To a degree it will suffer from some heatsoak, yes, in this weather probably won't make too much odds lol.

The inital idea is to develop and build some sort of 'enclosed' area around the filter, to try and seperate it from the engine abit, at which point i'd like to add a cold air feed. For the time being though i'm not worried, it always ran good in summer aswell with the pipercross on, so i'll get round to it someday.

    lookin good dude!

i would suggest cutting a hole in the inner wing - this is what i planned to do on mine - nice big hole cutter about 4" across with some ducting running in a 90degree sweep down behind the fog lamp (obviously with fog removed) or another free section of bumper

I suffered monumental heatsoak in summer with mine but it did sound the absolute mutts nuts and the reason I couldnt sell it as Id rather keep it just in case!

SEX. looks pukka mate. You have made me want to tidy up mine a bit now. I have ducted a pipe thru the inner wing for a cold air feed. Used ducting from a tumble dryer.
