    Lowering spring??

just been looking at 2 different kits on ebay and well i got a k and n induction kit of there and it did bugger all so i want a bit of advice be for i buy some.

KONI 1020 Sport Springs, they will lower my car by approx. 35mm and are about £120 but there are Jamex Lowering springs on there that lower the car by 40mm and are about £70.

What the differents?? are the koni's a better spring and will make it handle better and is it wought spending £50 more or should i go for the cheaper ones. As i have never lowered any of my cars and dont want to throw more money away because the seller say's that there all singing or dancing and all that rubbish for me to find out that they sing like a transit on its way out.

thanx for the advice or just reading my little rant

    ...

What did you expect it to do ???
....and did you search on here to find out what to expect ??
(for the record, improved throttle response - no power increase unless high power application, also beware of heatsoak affecting things negatively)

If you waited and put a bit more to your budget you could get coilovers...
How low do you want to go ???

its not about how long i go. am just asking is it worth spending £50 more or are the cheap ones just as good. (am i paying for the name)

the k and n i thought it may have give it a little bit more grunt but as i put it did dugger all. i am thinking of putting the original air vent back on and fitting the scoop to that and feeding it to the k and n. (may push more air to it??)
