    Astra CDti 1700 3000revs max

Hi my"Astra life 1700 "stops pulling over 3000revs and shows the spanner. my local garage changed the accelerator pedal box but no difference and now say they think it is the throttle control box . the pedal test shows ECN 112502 . is it a diy thing to change I dread going to a dealer with it. what should I look for ?

Have you had a look at the fault code page for your particular engine?
