    1.7 dti coolant pressurizing

Hi all, iv got a 2001 astravan 1.7dti. There seems to be a problem with the coolant pressure. Iv just drove up to Scotland and the top rad hose has blown off resulting in the coolant emtying it's self. I phoned the aa they put the hose back on and re filled coolant.

They then did a combustion gas detection test wich it passed. Then did a coolant sytem pressure test wich it failed. It was pressurizing on tick over. The said it could be the headgasket but not 100%.

There is no oil in water and no water in oil. The blowers are sometimes cold wen ment to be hot. What else could it be? Any surgestions? Cheers
