    Squealing Brakes

    Hi my astra coupe 1.8 has started giving off a loud squeal from the passenger side wheel, it doesn't do it all the time, and it stops when I put my foot on the brake or turn left...

    Just low pads? or perhaps something sinister?

    metal to metal rubbing gav ! so pads are probs low check them failing that jack it up and turn the wheel if its stiff its the bearning if it ant then i dont know mate

    As above, mine did it when i got it! New discs and pads sorted it! It also usually happens when either one or the other has been changed in the past and not both at the same time!
