cheers mate, were a bit of a mare to fit, but a bit of paitence and job done.

i got these leathers ones from here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ASTRA-H-MK5-GE...item439cca875e

dealt with a guy called Greg who was very helpful. He even talked me through fitting them on a sunday.

If you fiddle around with the fitment of the handbrake gaitor, you can make it look even nicer (if you're pedantic like me anyhow!) by lining up the red stripe:

OK, for me it was lining up the blue stitching but you get the drift

lol nry, that is my intention, just had the hump with fidilling around trying to get the gear gaiter in under the plastic chrome bit, so decided to leave it like that for today and will line everything up tomorrow. I need to staple the bottom bits back on yet anyway.

to be honest i'm not really a "hands on" sort of bloke. so for me it was, but am sure some may find it an easy job.

i thought removing the gear knob would take the longest but that was easy, just getting the gaiter over the chrome bit and then getting the white sleeve back on took a bit of time/fiddling.
