same thing happened on my zaf but i just changed it for a sports cat in the end. you can get a new flexy part and get it welded in place if the rest of the exhaust is ok

My first sports cat did that and it was blowing from the flexi pipe. If its not blowing then dont worry about it.

    Thanks for the replys!
Im gonna put an exhaust belt around it to try and seal it up as i can imagine that part of the exhaust being very expensive if it needs replacing

You can get a flexi part and weld it in for about 20 quid. When i put a 2.0 in my old corsa i mated the 2.0 exhaust to the corsa exhaust using a flexi pipe.

It just aids with engine movement, i wouldn't bother strapping it as it will probably make it worse.

Mine started like that and then fell off one evening...

Everywhere I rang wouldnt replace the flex and wanted to sell me an entire exhaust, had to scrap the car in the end. Gutting.

But should be fine, if it does go, just get it replaced.

it's only the braided armour, there's a concertina stainless pipe under that then a braided inner sleave, or overlap tube inside too.

When it starts blowing, think about replacing it.

You just need to get a replacement welded in as and when.
