Quick powerful car that's cheap to insure?

    Hey guys

    I'm 22
    4 years NCB
    6 points (3 SP30 2007 / 3 LC20 2009)

I've tried all the decent quick cars.. Golf TSi, Golf GT TDI 170, Cupra R, 325/330Ci M Sport... All over 2K insurance.. It's an absolute nightmare.. I think once you have points insurance companies totally disregard NCB.. I thought NCB was our best friend?

What cars do you recommend? Budget of about 6K.

    Thanks

Are you looking for old or new cars?

If old try the Rover Coupe turbo's. There pretty nippy. Or a Glanza turbo.

I had my heart set on an EP3 type R.. No luck, only getting quotes at about 2.5k.. I am only checking online via confused.com... Would i find cheaper quotes by ringing up companies?

Driving with no license is doing you no favours, they usually ignore the first 3 points for speeding.

online web comparisons can be beaten loads, just the other day it came to my renewal, i had my renewal through of 1200, checked confused and moneysupermarket to come back at nearly 2000, rang around and got it for 614! Thats on my car at 20 with 1 years no claims, and a couple of previous accidents

Im 22 had my turbo now for 2 years and my insurance is £500 a year with 4 years no claims (thats fully comp). I got quotes for a 3litre twin turbo supra at around the £800 mark, but quotes on an evo are around 2.5k??? I would look at some of the big power nissans or toyotas if i was you.
