    coupe help

As stated earlier ma coupe has a crack in the return pipe just after the black y-branch connector that is connected to the fuel filter.
below is an image of the part needed and is the red circled part the top of the fuel pump? and is that accessible from the inside rear seat on the coupe??

Yes it is. Lift up the read bench and you will see a flap in the carpet. Lift that up and you will see a black circular hatch for access

you will not need to go that far, the broken piece of pipe in question has a snap lock just along the topside of the tank where it joins to the fuel line that enters the fuel pump under the back seat. only problem is that sometimes you need to drop the tank slightly to get at the pipe routing

Yep, the 1.8 goes straight on to the top of the fuel pump as does the 2.2.
1.4,1.6 is slightly different but was advised the pipe must be the same as is. The only good thing i have is a skelaton of the 1.8 coupe which is where i got the pic for the forum, so now i know where most pipes wires ect all go now. thanks for your help though and hopefully al get the time to get it back on the road, just bought a new ford transit 180 for my work and am enjoying driving around like a gypsy.

    ^^^^^ wee bugger!!!
wrong here as yes i cracked the return pipe and to fix am afraid i removed the exhaust from the center section along with the rear heatshields and dropped the petrol tank at least 10 inches to gain access to the fuel pump connection point which is located under the rear seats. the tank has to be dropped to avoid kinking the fuel return pipe and to give it its run without getting squashed!
no the vans not couped its actually mine a bought it and i own and insure the f&*king thing.
wee buggers ma step brother and has posted some good replys and topics as buckle mentioned but as usual has to spoil it although i do agree with a portion on what he says am afraid he aint 100% correct.
