    Changing droplinks

    Iv only ever took the bolt of the top of the drop link to change springs, is the bottom just the same as the top?

    Just wana make sure im only letting myself in for a 20min job rather than a 2 hour job lol

    The bottom one is more of a pain as there is less room.

    Also I have found a few times that the new ones have different size nuts.

    Alreet Dan,

    Whack some penetrating oil on them a day before, might help loosening them up. As said above they are a different size nut on the bottom. 19 and 17 or 20 and 18 something of that order. The bottom one can be a little tricky to get off due to lack of space.

    Cheers lads, changed them now, took a bit longer than expected but nvm.

    Bottom was a 18 the same as the top, the new droplinks are 17 socket.....

    Iv still not moved the car yet so wait and see if my wheel falls off lol

    Yeah did mine again at the weekend. They are correct, top and bottom are the same. Mine were 18mm, but I neeed a 19mm on the back to stop them spinning.
