    whistling noise

    Hi all,

Just had a TX fmic fitted and from the first time i drove it when i accelarate and boost kicks in the i can hear a whistling noise and then it stops after it gets passed 3,500 revs. it never did it with the standard intercooler. it was fitted by a mechanic and everything is tighten up to the maximum. i have a regal phase 1 map. any ideas or is it normal?

    cheers

Like i said before its just the turbo spooling up / air flow in the pipes now everything is a bit free-er flowing.

yeah i know you mentioned it mate but it weird seeing as it never had this problem before. looking at the link someone mentioned dump valve leaking? another said the turbo could be on it's way out? im just confused as it didn't ever make any noises before.
