Depends what condition the Zlet is in,it might be not worth it in which case go for a vxr unit but if its only seals then go for recon and upgrade the bearing and seals

    whats ur budget?

personally id go uprated VXR route but that is gonna cost in the region of £700 for a brand new unit

this is what i will be doing once ive saved the money again from bein scammed by a certain person on here selling stolen turbos!

you may be able to find a low mileage vxr unit then have it uprated but a lot of companies will charge quite a bit more to rebuild a used unit as opposed to a brand new unit

all depends on the budget at the end of the day - but if u have the funds, TurboDynamics for instance can supply a brand new already uprated VXR turbo for around the 700 quid mark

Im not sure tbh,ive phoned a few places and courtenay have been by far the cheapest for the VXR turbo. Been told tho that my standard 1 might not be that bad and just need the seals and bearing done but no way of checking, its so frustrating.

Do you know of anyone thats bought a vxr turbo for £500-£600?

Have u tried Vauxhall Trade Club for prices?

According to tradeclub website the VXR turbo is currently £440.25+VAT equating to £517.29

not sure what Courtenays price is like in comparison

Not sure if youd be fitting it yourself but it really is a doddle to do

details here if u are: http://www.zlet.co.uk/T-unit%20Fitment.htm

Only certain people have log in info for the trade club website. Think a set has been posted in the members lounge. It's not your AOC login btw.

Off topic, where in Killie you from? Don't suppose you was at the Travelodge car park with a load other Vauxhalls on Sunday?
