    What would it take to put tihs back on the road?

    Im lookin for an astra coupe but i came across this one on ebay and was wondering what it would take to put i back on the road ?

    buy the look of it it needs a new pair of headlights,rearbumper and boot lid ?

    As said looks to be just a tailgate and bumper. Might be worth finding out if the boot floor is damaged at all.

    dont cat c's need a vic test to , also the rear bumper is wired like a hatch style on a coupe lol
    2003 1.6 16v sxi, black slated grill, jamex 40mm, yellow engine hoses, veccy c pipe, de restricted air box..

    i know it needs a cat C and it has the wrong rear bumper and headlights but i wanna know if it was floor damage if it dont im might be willing to pick it up and take it stright down the local VIC station and get it checked thn drive it home!

    As said above the cars already got the wrong rear bumper on it, possibly from a saloon? Headlights are wrong too

    I woudn't mind betting a previous accidents made it cat c

    you can take a car straight for a vic test, even if its still damaged, basicly a VIC test is to check it is the car you say it is, before a logbook is issued, they cost £41 IIRC (my mums car had one recently)

    and it dont look too bad, it would deffo be worth a gamble. email them and get them to send you pics of the boot floor
    Probably the ONLY Astra Mk3 sitting on Corsa D SXI rims!

    Looks to me like its been shunted quite badly and someone has already tryed to fix it on the cheap, putting the wrong bumper on and headlights.

    There might be more damage then is apparent at the back, boot space etc.

    If the car has had a bad bump from behind it will never drive right again.

    Id be very weary if i was you.
